The Lady Coyotes battled at home to place 2nd in the 2024 PCAC conference championships at home. Led by Freshman sensation Brinley Campbell, the Lady Coyotes won several events on the day. Campbell took both hurdle races, scored in two jumping events and assisted in both relays. All together, Brinley contributed 33 of the Cuyamca 167 total points. Not to be undone, teammate and freshman Deja Thomas took both long sprints and anchored the 4 x 1 relay. Mar'azanae Townsend perhaps had the busiest schedule competing in both the 100m and 400m hurdles, and three jumps (LJ, TJ, HJ) winning both the high jump and triple jump. Perhaps the biggest improvement came from Sophomore Viviana Cuadras in the 400m hurdles. Vivi shaved off 5 seconds over the season to finish 2nd in the conference and earning a ticket for socals and the toughest race in track & field.
