Cuyamaca WBB Welcomes 3-Sport Standout Yasmine Zufri Class of 2025

La Mesa, CA

Cuyamaca College Women's Basketball is proud to announce the addition of Yasmine Zufri, a versatile and high-impact athlete from Morse High School, to the Class of 2025.

Standing at 6'0", Zufri brings a rare blend of size, athleticism, and skill to the Coyotes. A three-sport standout in basketball, volleyball, and track & field, she has earned a reputation as one of San Diego's most dynamic competitors known for her ability to influence the game on both ends of the court.

"Yasmine isn't just a great athlete she's a competitor with real potential," said Head Coach Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood. "Her ability to defend, run the floor, and adapt to multiple positions is exactly what we value. She fits our culture and what we're building here."

Zufri is expected to bring versatility and intensity to Cuyamaca's system with the athletic tools to rebound, defend, and create mismatches across the floor. Her presence marks a key step in strengthening the program's core of local, high-upside talent.

Off the court, Yasmine is equally focused, respected for her work ethic and leadership in the classroom and in the community. She embodies the Cuyamaca standard of bringing both character and commitment into the program.

As the Coyotes prepare for a new season, Zufri is set to be a foundational piece in a team hungry for growth, grit, and next-level impact.

Welcome to the Pack, Yasmine.
