Cuyamaca College Women's Basketball is proud to announce the return of Shania White, a dynamic 5'2" point guard from San Diego, CA and Bonita Vista High School, for the 2025–26 season.
As a freshman during the 2024–25 campaign, White quickly established herself as a leader on and off the floor. Starting in 21 games, she averaged 11.1 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game showing poise, toughness, and an elite work ethic from the jump.
"Shania is the engine of this program," said Head Coach Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood. "Her leadership, tenacity, and basketball IQ make her a cornerstone for where we're headed next."
Known for her vocal presence, fearless drives, and relentless pace, White returns ready to elevate her game and lead a new wave of Coyotes into a season grounded in purpose, growth, and grit.
Her return reflects the evolving culture of Cuyamaca Women's Basketball one where Purpose > Performance isn't just a slogan, but a standard.
We're thrilled to welcome back our floor general for another season of momentum, mission, and movement.
