Elijah Jordan and Arthur Simpson keep there return trip to CCC State Championships alive with qualifying performances at the SoCal Regional Championship prelims at Cerritos College on Friday May 3rd. Elijah, competing in his specialty 3000m steeple-chase, finished the day with the 3rd best time of the day and positions himself well for the championship and earning his ticket back to the state meet to be held at Saddleback College on May 17-18th. Team mate Arthur Simpson "AZ", has struggled with injury most of the year but was able to bounce a 22' 3.75" leap for 5th best of the day. Both athletes need to place in the top-6 with an minimum state qualifying mark to move to the final show. However, both are looking great and in position to grab the prize.
