Cuyamaca Women's golf team opened their season in the California desert heat traveling to the Lakes Country Club where the College of the Desert hosted the Desert Invitational. The all freshman team of Georgia Daum, Kiana Glossner, Evette Perry and Summer Rookey kicked off the season with great scores and a team posting. Highlighting the foursome, Kiana Glossner finished 2nd in the overall athlete position. The start by the women's team is encouraging for such a young team. Their next match is Wednesday Septemeber 6th is versus Mt. San Jancinto at Soboba CC.
