On the road at Southwestern, Cuyamaca needed to guard the Jaguars' best shooter and limit their main post. Unfortunately, the Coyotes' weren't able to cover either the shooter (9 made threes) or the post (21 pts).  The Coyotes led by 7 with 3 minutes to go in the first half. But they were outscored 8-0 to close out the half, and then gave up an 11-3 run to start the second half. Game over. Coyotes lose, 98-82. Cuyamaca was led by Spencer Smith (29 pts).
