Cuyamaca played LA Harbor in an elimination game on day two of the SD City Tournament. The Coyotes jumped out to an impressive first half lead (49-32), scoring 17 first half points in transition and playing excellent defense. In the second half, the Coyotes' defense began to give up easy baskets. However, the Cuyamaca offense continued to score at will behind 12 three-point makes. The Coyotes were led in three point shooting by Spencer Smith (17 pts, 5 threes), Shai Stevenson (12 pts, 3 threes) and Jeron Satterfield (9 pts, 3 threes). The Coyotes had a balanced attack with Eric Patten (14 pts, 6 rebs), Calvin Harris (14 pts) and Jon Irving (13 pts, 6 rebs, 8 asts) also contributing. Coyotes win, 84-72.
