Cuyamaca's own Jamie Adams is the spring quarter winner of the Excellence in Athletic Training Award from the Far West Athletic Trainers’ Association (FWATA). The award honors athletic trainers who “display an exceptional commitment to mentoring, professional development or enhancing the quality of health care.”
“Jamie has been non-stop in advocating and promoting athletic trainers in California and is very deserving of the Excellence in AT award,” said District Director Carolyn Peters.
“I am so honored to receive this award,” said Jamie. “There are so many amazing athletic trainers in the Far West Athletic Trainers Association! I know that I would not be where I am today without many of them mentoring and guiding me.”
