Corina Trevino is our Athletics Operations Specialist. She has served in that role since August, 2014, and is responsible for organizing and managing the day-to-day activities of the Athletics Office. Corina assists visitors and student-athletes with requests for information. An important part of her position is to coordinate the logistics of transporting coaches and student-athletes, making sure all possible needs (such as meals, hotels, uniforms, and transportation) are met. She also helps with athlete eligibility compliance, which becomes a major part of her job at the beginning of each semester.

Corina loves working at Cuyamaca, and says that the student-athletes are all so friendly, thoughtful, and funny.

"It really makes me feel good to be working with student-athletes," says Corina, "because it is so fulfilling to see them off on their next new adventure."

The highlight of her athletic career was receiving the Cuyamaca Way award in 2014.

"It was really unexpected, but such a very nice gesture on behalf of the college to acknowledge me."

Corina’s previously worked as the Business Services Specialist at Cuyamaca, where she processed all of the Business Services forms as well as managing the Switchboard and key departments. Before that she worked for 19 years in the off-road industry as an office manager, and in the aerospace industry at General Dynamics, Space Systems Division, and for Bank of America. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from National University, San Diego.

If she could compete in one sport for the Coyotes, it would probably be volleyball, as that was her favorite sport growing up. Her favorite snack bar item (if she could have anything) would be a caramel apple with nuts. Corina is married with three grown children and enjoys going to the desert, traveling, and spending time with her five cats (and her husband).
